I had to get a refund because my dog wouldn’t eat itMy dog is the most picky eater in the world. She used to eat certain parts of her food and spit the rest out all over the floor. She loves this dog food though. However, my three small dogs didn’t really care for it. I have two yorkies (4 lbs, 9 and 10 years old) and a mini-goldendoodle (12 lbs, 1 year old). They are slightly picky towards food, but not extremely. I think the main problem was the size. They are used to being on small or even toy breed size food. This food is significantly larger than their typical small breed food. While they ate it at first, they quickly started leaving it and waiting for me to give them their normal food. The ingredients are still good though.Pros, the small breed type has nice smaller kibble pieces which I’ve learned is important for smaller adult dogs (mine is a 10 lb chihuahua mix). My dog is also on the picky side and seemed to have no issues with this food. She liked it, albeit I saw her drinking more than usual so it may be a bit salty.Con, It is relatively light in color and I tend to find the darker kibble produces more firm outputs on the other end.
